I hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday season. I know some of my students are staying in town, some are traveling, some have big plans and some are laying low.
Whatever you are choosing to do, I trust you are being good to yourself.
I am writing this email from a hospital in Colorado. My sister is in labor!
After watching my amazing sis experience the intense moments of labor, I hope I never again complain about how difficult a yoga pose can be!
There are two main similarities between challenging yoga and labor. The most important aspect in both is the slow deep breathing.
This is important for all who desire to live a conscious life. Full deep breaths translate to a fully enriched life. When you cut your breathing off short, you are cutting your life short as well.
By the time you read this email, I may have a new niece or nephew. It’s a surprise! What a great gift to my family and the world:)
So lets bust out a Happy Baby Pose for all the babies making their entrance this holiday season.
