What is Shadow Yoga?
This unique practice, founded by Sundernath (Shandor Remete), has common principles grounded in yoga, Indian dance, martial arts and Ayurvedic medicine, a holistic approach to healing the whole body.
Shadow Yoga is a modern system of yoga that produces deeper, more effective results in less amount of time.
Like most yoga practices, you’ll feel healthy results inside and out. The difference with Shadow Yoga is that it maximizes the mental and physical benefits you desire more deeply and quickly, in a safe and encouraging environment.
There are 3 sequences in Shadow Yoga, taught privately or in workshop format.
Balakrama
Stepping Into Strength.
Explores a deeper sense of strength, bone conditioning and burn.
Chaya Yoddha Sancalam
Churning of the Shadow.
Come out from under the weight of your own shadow, gracefully, through mindful breathing, joint agility and flexibility.
Kartikeya
Garland of Light
A sequence of yoga, dance-like movements that unblock stagnant energy, allowing your internal guiding light to lead through all aspects of your life.
